Successful Completion of Legal Internship at the National Assembly of Pakistan!
We are proud to share that Abdul Basit, a dedicated student of Punjab University Law College, has successfully completed his Legal Internship at the National Assembly of Pakistan. This prestigious opportunity offered him invaluable exposure to legislative affairs, parliamentary processes, and legal research at the highest level of governance.
During the course of his internship, Abdul Basit served in the Legislation Wing, Research Wing, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Secretariat, and the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC). His active engagement in legal research, policy analysis, and legislative drafting equipped him with a thorough understanding of lawmaking, governance, and public policy formulation.
A noteworthy highlight of his journey was his election as Deputy Speaker during the Mock Parliamentary Session, where he had the honor of presiding over the session—an achievement that brought pride to the institution as he represented Punjab University Law College, University of the Punjab, Lahore with excellence and distinction.
In recognition of his accomplishments and dedication, Abdul Basit was also presented with an appreciation letter by Prof. Dr. Aman Ullah Malik, Principal of Punjab University Law College.
